
Two clinical protocols for family doctors and obstetricians-gynecologists have been approved[:]
In order to improve the quality of health care and to standardize family planning services on April 25, 2018 in the basiss of the Order no. 539 and Order no.540 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova two clinical protocols were approved:
- Clinical Protocol for Family Physicians and Obstetricians-Gynecologists “Combined Oral Contraceptives (COC)”
- Clinical Protocol for Family Physicians and Obstetricians-Gynecologists „Depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) injectable contraception”
The elaboration of the clinical protocols was one of the activities of the project “Strengthening national system of services provision in family planning” implemented by the Reproductive Health Training Center (RHTC) with the financial support of UNFPA Moldova.
In order to achieve this objective, based on the Order nr. 199d of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova of 19.07.2017 “The establishment of the working group” a working group was established in the following composition:
- Angela Anisei, Head of Department, National Center for Health Management,
- Rodica Comendant, Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, USMF “Nicolae Testemitanu”, RHTC Director
- Ion Bologan, associate professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, USMF “Nicolae Testemitanu”,
- Irina Sagaidac, Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, FECMF, USMF “Nicolae Testemitanu”.
